Join Cutthroat Anglers at Bear Trail Lodge, September 3 – September 10, 2017, $250 Cutthroat Anglers Gift Card Included
If Alaska has been on your bucket list, this is absolutely the trip for you. We are targeting Silver Salmon, Grayling, Dolly Varden, and, of course, Trophy Rainbows. With over 125 different fishing lodges in Alaska, and the variations in fisheries that occur over the short Alaska fishing season, the choice of destination and timing can be challenging. Not to worry - this is not our first rodeo and we are here to help you every step of the way. We’ve picked a location within Alaska’s only designated “Trophy Rainbow Trout” area. Plus, the first-class accommodations of Bear Trail Lodge sit beside the Naknek River, named the #1 Rainbow Trout river in Alaska by Fish Alaska magazine. If that’s not enough, fly outs are included in the package to 18 different rivers within the Bristol Bay watershed…many of them within a short 20 minute flight of the lodge. All of this puts you in the best position to experience all the majesty Alaskan fishing has to offer.
It wouldn’t be an Alaskan experience without the surrounding beauty and wildlife that is so plentiful in this remote location. The lodge operates within the Katmai National Park and Preserve that has one of the highest concentrations of brown bear populations in the world. So, sometimes you just have to take a break from fishing just to watch those magnificent bears in their natural habitat.
If you’ve never been to Alaska, then this is the trip that was worth ‘wading’ for. If you are a seasoned Alaskan angler, you already know about the outstanding reputation of Bear Trail Lodge. Your experience will begin as you depart Anchorage on the afternoon of Sunday September 3 to arrive at the lodge via Pen Air through King Salmon, which are included in the cost of the trip ($575 value). You will be able to fish every day through the afternoon of Sunday, September 10, when you’ll prepare for an early evening return trip to Anchorage with arrival by 9:00 p.m. (schedules may change a bit, but we’ll get you home!)
The 2017 rate for 7 nights lodging and 7 days of fishing is $9250. 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-day day packages are also available, ranging in price from $5275 to $8595 (per person, double occupancy). The following are included in the price:
And last, but not least, we’ve thrown in a $250 Cutthroat Anglers Gift Card just to help you replenish your tackle and gear for this great trip. This isn’t the time to be relying on old line, leader or tippet, or that old Pfleuger Medalist that's been gathering dust in the closet for the past 40 years.
