FRIDAY FLIES WITH KORY LEWIS
If you frequent the shop, Kory Lewis has likely given you a fly recommendation or two.
If you took his advice, you likely caught fish. Kory is a year round shop guy and part time
guide. We are happy to present to you Kory's Friday flies.
THE ELK HAIR CADDIS
A classic stand by dry fly that can be used throughout the spring, summer and fall from May
to October. The Elk Hair Caddis was developed by Al Troth in 1957.
THE MORRISH ANATO MAY
A great mayfly and small stonefly pattern. This is a great fly where the fish can be picky against
copper or gold beaded flies with its subtle black nickel beadhead. Tied originally by Ken Morrish.
THE KK’S HENNEBERRY HOPPER
A high visibility high floating hopper pattern with extremely realistic colors and tones
imprinted on the body. Brown trout love them!
THE THORAX PMD EMERGER
An amazing PMD, Red Quill and Ginger Quill pattern used late July through September.
Very realistic fly pattern. The segmented thorax body tied with biots.
