THE ZEBRA MIDGE WITH TRENT JONES 

The zebra midge is an extremely simple, yet effective pattern in our Colorado home waters.  The tungsten bead will provide more natural weight and this fly can be fished in all types of water throughout the year.  Every angler should have a variety of colors in their bug boxes year round.  Enjoy!

          Hook: TMC 2487 Size 16-20
          Bead: 5/64" Tungsten Bead 
          Thread: Uni Thread 8/0.
          Rib: Small Ultra Wire
          Body: Black tying thread.
          Note: Try different color beads, threads, and wires, as well.
