The RS2 pattern was invented over 40 years ago but is still one of trout angler's favorite patterns for good reason.  The RS2 can be fished as a nymph and also makes an excellent emerger pattern.  It is effective year round in nearly every body of water in Colorado.  This fly is a must and a great one to spin up yourself.  It is also a great fly to build variations in to over time to add your own twist. 

          Hook: TMC 101 Size 18 or 20

          Thread: Uni Thread 8/0 or 140 denier.

          Tail: Fluoro Fibre

          Body: Hareline Fine Dub

Wing: Razor foam or pearl mini flat braid
