June 5th: Silverthorne's First Friday
Come say hello to Sam and Diana at the Cutthroat Anglers tent to sign up for your women’s events!
June 20th: Fly Box Paint and Sip
Join us for a fly box paint and sip. Come for a laid back evening of art, community, and fly fishing talk . Customize your own Fishpond Pescador Fly box no art or painting experience needed.
July 12th: 101 Class; Building confidence on the river with Diana
We will have a 2 hour class in the shop for those who need a little help to get on the water. We will go over knots, reading the river, and picking the bugs. Drinks and appetizers will be provided.
July 18th: 2 Hour Casting Clinic
We will be running a 2 hour casting clinic for all fly fishing abilities. Bring your own rod or we can provide shop rods. We will work on basic fundamentals, "target practice", and roll casting.
August 1st: Fly Fishing 201 with Sam
This class will dive into making strategic decisions in changing conditions, understanding insect hatches, dry-dropper, and streamer techniques. This course is a good option for women who are comfortable with the basics but want to learn how to get on the water independently and with confidence.
August 14th-16th: Hosted Trip; Bear Mountain Outfitters
Join us at Bear Mountain Lodge for a luxury fishing experience with other women anglers. Guides Sam and Diana will guide us one day on a private lake and the second day will be on a local river, stillwater or creek.
