Bear Mountain Retreats Overnight Trips
We are excited to partner with Bear Mountain Retreats and offer our guests all inclusive experiences at Diamond Peak Ranch near Rabbit Ears Pass. This 18,000 acre ranch is conveniently located just 1 hour north of the shop near a large variety of our favorite fisheries. Guests will enjoy access to a private reservoir on the property, 6 miles of private access on Grizzly Creek and a number of public lakes, creeks and rivers.
The private reservoir is home to large rainbow, brown, brook and tiger trout that grow fat on a healthy supply of scuds and other aquatic insects. Anglers will enjoy the comfort of a raft or drift boat while fishing the lake. Streamers, terrestrials and leech rigs are all effective ways to pursue the large trout that reside below the surface. Trust us when we say this is not your average reservoir.
Looking to explore several fisheries during your stay? Nearby public water options include the upper Colorado River, Williams Fork Creek, Williams Fork Tailwater, Wolford Mountain Reservoir, Delaney Butte Lakes, and Muddy Creek. This is truly a trout angler's paradise.

Bears Den is an ideal lodging option for larger groups seeking comfort and privacy. Featuring four spacious bedrooms, three bedrooms are equipped with their own en suite bathroom, guests can enjoy the convenience of having personal facilities. In addition to the three en suite bathrooms, there are two additional half baths available, ensuring that everyone has access without the need for long queues.
