Private water trips cost extra for access to the area called a rod fee, but oftentimes the private water can lead to a quieter experience with less pressured trout.  Rod fees are simply added to our normal guide price and we do not upcharge any amount on top of what the landowners charge. Most trips meet at the shop around 7:30 a.m., but we are happy to adjust start times and location to accommodate your preferences whenever possible. We drive our clients from the shop to each fishing destination and travel times range from 45 minutes to 90 minutes for private water trips so plan for some drive time. Guides will provide non-alcoholic beverages on all trips and food is included on full day trips. Pack your own snacks for half day trips. We will provide rods, reels, boots, waders and flies. The only additional things you need to cover are a fishing license and gratuity.

Please call the shop at 970-262-2878 to request a guide trip. We take pride in catering our guide trip experiences to each angler and it is important that we have a full conversation at the time of booking. Therefore, we are no longer booking guide trips online.
